Alex and I spent the weekend in San Jose playing in CAHA. Bree put in a full women’s team in one of the men’s divisions and we won! We played our first game against one of the five Fresno teams, and the rest of our games were from the Bay Area. We went undefeated and won the Championship 3-1. It was a hell of a game and while I didn’t have a ton of shots throughout most of the tournament, the last 5 minutes I had a lot of work with our PK. It was a highly satisfying win! Alex had a team as well and we got to watch each others games. Our jerseys were also a hit, and had everyone talking (and laughing). It was fun that a lot of the Fresno guys I’ve known for years finally saw my women’s team play.
