In preparation for the Women’s 2019 World Floorball Championship, I’ve been playing in Sweden since the end of August. This has been a big step for me to uproot my life to get ready for the tournament. I am very excited to play for Team USA, and I need to keep in shape!
While I have spent the last 2 months strictly playing floorball, my time in Sweden is coming to an end. I requested a longer stay with Migration, however I was denied. I still have a few weeks to go before flying to Switzerland for the WFC, so I’ll be traveling around the UK. I will attempt to contact a few floorball clubs to try to get some practice in.
I have a few days left to practice and pack my stuff, and then the next stage of my journey is on!
